Indian Coast Guard Navik GD Recruitment 2025 Online Application Started, Check Vacancy Notice Here
The Indian Coast Guard, which works under the Ministry of Defence, has shared a new job opportunity for Indian boys who want to serve the nation. The recruitment is for different posts such as Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), and Yantrik.
Only male Indian citizens can apply for these posts. The selection will be done through the Coast Guard Enrolled Personnel Test (CGEPT) for the 01/2026 and 02/2026 batches. The online application process started on 11 June 2025 at 11:00 AM, and the last date to apply is 25 June 2025 at 11:30 PM.
After getting selected, candidates will receive professional training. The training for batch 01/2026 will begin in February 2026, and for batch 02/2026, it will begin in July 2026. Those who complete the training will get a chance to work with one of the most important forces protecting our country’s coastline.

The candidate must be 18 to 22 years old. For Navik (GD) and (DB), the date of birth should be between 01 August 2004 to 01 August 2008. For Yantrik, it should be between 01 March 2004 to 01 March 2008. SC/ST candidates get 5 years’ relaxation, and OBC candidates get 3 years’ relaxation.
The application fee is ₹300 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC/ST candidates do not need to pay any fee. The fee must be paid online through a card, UPI, or net banking.
It is advised to apply early to avoid technical issues on the last day.
The selection for the Indian Coast Guard posts is done in four steps. First, there will be a computer-based written test which includes questions from subjects like Maths, Science, English, and Reasoning, based on the post. Candidates who pass the written test will be called for Stage 2, where a physical fitness test, document checking, and a medical test will be conducted.
Those who qualify will move to Stage 3 at INS Chilka, where original documents will be verified again, and a final medical test will be done. In the last step, Stage 4, all documents will be cross-checked again before training starts. Candidates must pass all stages to get selected.

The application process is completely online. Candidates must have an active email ID and mobile number. They should fill out the form carefully and upload all documents properly. Only one post can be selected by a candidate.
