The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), established in September 2023, has announced the TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) Commission Recruitment 2025 to fill vacancies across various disciplines:

This recruitment drive follows the dissolution of the former Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission (HPSSC) due to alleged irregularities, ensuring a transparent and merit-based selection process.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the TGT positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree: In the relevant subject with at least 50% marks.
  • B.Ed. Degree: Mandatory.
  • HP TET Qualification: Candidates must have qualified the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) in the relevant subject.
• Age Limit:
  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 45 years
  • Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

Note: Candidates with less than 50% marks in their undergraduate degree can apply if they have secured 55% or more in their postgraduate degree.

📚 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

• Exam Mode: Objective-type questions (Multiple Choice Questions).
• The selection will be made through a Computer Based Test / Written Screening Test of 100 marks with a duration of 2 hours, as decided by the Aayog.
• The test will be of objective type, consisting of 200 Multiple Choice Questions carrying ½ mark each.

  • General Hindi and English: Language proficiency at the matriculation level.

• Age Relaxation: The HPRCA has proposed a two-year relaxation in the upper age limit for recruitment to 1,423 pending posts, providing relief to candidates affected by previous recruitment delays.
• Recruitment Drive: The Himachal Pradesh government has directed the HPRCA to commence the recruitment process for over 2,000 posts across various departments, boards, and corporations.
• One-Time Registration: A one-time registration module is being developed to streamline the application process for candidates.
